POSITION PURPOSE
- Responsible for providing assistance to both Master Repair Technician and Area Department Supervisor in the general oversight and function specific unit repair areas. Will ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, while also providing training to the repair associates for specific unit types. The Lead will continue to perform repair tasks as well as maintain the responsibility of achieving all operational goals.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

-15% Assisting Repair Technicians in achieving daily repair goals by responding to questions regarding unit repair and trouble-shooting difficult repairs. Ensuring associates maintain or reach repair goals through use of system checks and visual observation. -15% Assessing the quality of the repair to ensure units are diagnosed/repaired in an efficient manner, cost effective manner while and making sure customer satisfaction with the repair. Ensuring the repair work completed meets warranty specifications as required by OEM. Maintaining and ensuring the parts inventory levels for area
-15% Ensuring all associates operate in a safe and productive manner while following all company guidelines and safety procedures. Includes maintaining clean and organized area completely free from anything creating a safety issue or preventing repair goals being reached.
-10% Ensuring appropriate training is provided to repair associates on new unit types or re-training on unit types to correct deficiencies in repair.
-10% Partnering with Manager to provide feedback on repair associates overall performance and quality of repair.
-35% Continuing to perform repair tasks as well as achieving all operational goals.

- Position reports to Area Supervisor; No direct reports

Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass the Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
EDUCATION REQUIRED
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

-Must have working knowledge of Repair Center area with repair experience in 2-3 unit types.
-Must be able to work in team environment and be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-Previous experience in a leadership capacity is preferred.
-Strong PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
