Summary:
The position will be responsible for creating financial transactions and reports, posting invoices and payments to accounting software and reconciling accounts.
The position will also support the month end closing process.
This position requires flexibility to assist with duties in all departments and must be comfortable working in a small office environment.

Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable - Set up new vendors Ensure all invoices have been approved and coded properly Pay supplier invoices on a weekly basis or as required, to include mail distribution Accounts Receivable - Post cash receipts to appropriate customer's accounts Research and post deductions Make adjusting journal entries when required Credit and Collections - Ensure pertinent information is updated in customer master Perform collection duties on a regular and timely basis Constantly strive to improve DSO Expense Reporting - Ensure all expense documentation is received in a timely manner Month End Closing Assist in preparation of Month End Financial Statements Bank Reconciliations Month end Journal Entries General Ledger analysis as required Other Duties Maintain an orderly accounting filing system Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested Perform all other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Education and/or
Experience:
5-10 years related experience Bachelor's degree a plus, but not required Experience with accounting software and MS Office Suite Ability to work independently Strong communication and organizational skills Work environment:
Must be comfortable working in a small office environment.

Travel:
This position does not require travel.
