We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Night Auditor.
As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours.
This position offers an opportunity to work in the hospitality industry and provide exceptional guest services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily hotel transactions and ensure accuracy - Verify and balance entries, including room charges, taxes, and other fees - Prepare daily reports summarizing hotel operations for management review - Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the overnight shift - Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries or concerns - Assist with guest relations, including resolving complaints or issues - Maintain a clean and organized front desk area - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member - Assist with other front desk duties as needed Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role is preferred - Strong guest service skills with the ability to handle guest interactions professionally and courteously - Multilingual skills are a plus, especially if fluent in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests - Familiarity with night audit procedures and front desk operations is desirable - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts - Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel management software systems - Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and record keeping Note:
