30pm EDT We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team.
This role includes identifying missing or incorrect data and correcting any discrepancies.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating and verifying data from our databases and will also assist with uploading into the new ERP system.
Reconciliation of data (comparing and correcting) during multiple system conversion test runs and deployment is also included in the job responsibilities.
Decommissioning the data from the legacy system will also be included in this role, which includes storage of historical data, providing inventory and location of historical data, and reconciliation of data.
The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, efficiency, and organization during this project.
RESPONSIBILITIES Data Entry:
Load or input data into the company's database systems.
Ensure timely and error-free entry of information.
Review and verify data for discrepancies or missing information.
Data Verification:
Cross-check and validate data to ensure accuracy.
Identify and correct errors in data.
Maintain data quality standards by conducting routine audits.
Compare data uploads in new system to existing data in legacy system.
Perform multiple test-runs of data uploads and related reconciliations.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Communication:
Collaborate with team members to address any data-related issues.
Communicate effectively with other departments to gather necessary information.
Work closely with existing IT Staff, project manager and ERP consultants.
Confidentiality:
Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
Adhere to data protection policies and guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in data entry, cleansing and reconciliation with a high level of accuracy.
Experience with ERP System Data Conversions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with reconciling data between systems.
Excellent time management and ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong Excel Skills.
Basic understanding of confidentiality principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
