Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front office, including managing the front desk staff and ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by providing personalized assistance to guests.
- Manage phone systems, including answering calls, taking messages, and transferring calls to appropriate departments.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
- Train and supervise front office staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about hotel services and policies.
- Assist with night audit duties, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and front desk procedures.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
